Specific Requirements:Verification Engineer responsible for the software verification and qualification of the Informatics software product(s) connected to medical diagnostics instruments. The candidate will have to interact with other subject matter experts to gather information, review the requirements and scenarios and plan for the testing activities with the associated applications. Key responsibilities of the position include all aspects of the software verification in a medical diagnostics laboratory environment, adherence to company and regulatory procedures, software quality, collection and reporting of metrics.Key Responsibilities:- Understanding technical requirements and planning the activities- Setting up an integrated hardware, software and diagnostic instrument environment- Prepare software test cases- Manually install multiple applications- Execute test cases in the laboratory on the diagnostics instruments- Assure that software quality goals are met- Adhere to company and regulatory procedureRequired Skills:- Industry-standard testing methodology- Experience with medical diagnostics instruments and/or interfacing with automationsystems/devices is desired- Experience working in medical lab- Strong analytical and decision-making skills- Excellent organizational and communication skills- Strong quality orientation and customer focus- Possess a high-level of self-motivation and ability to work on a teamMinimum Required Skills:- Knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10, etc.,- Experience using MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)- Working knowledge and experience in TFS- Typically 5-7 years’ experience in Software verification and installationEducation:- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, EE, Biology or related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceNotes:8:00 am - 5:00 pmVIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
