Description :Qualifications:IT Project Manager Department IT Services (EAS) Job Summary: Reporting to the Program Director for Financial Systems Transformation, this person will be a member of the FST team and act as project manager supporting project leads in various workstreams, including retrofits, conversions, and related technical areas. Responsibilities :Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Set up and maintain documentation and deliverables, etc. in central repository as needed. Support project management through planning and communication with cross-functional teams across administrative and academic units. Manage stakeholders and unit requirements through development of process flows. Monitor and track project progress; escalating risks and issues to management as needed Gather and analyze data from multiple sources across campus to inform decision-making (i.e., define and quantify the impact of various options for senior leaders) Collaborate on development of communications, presentations, or special events as needed. Coordinate events, research logistics, assist with planning and preparing presentations, event outreach, and post-event write ups. Assist with other administrative projects as needed and acquire higher level guidance and skills. Co-develop. manage and maintain the project plan Manage risks and issues Manage quality Assign responsibilities Deliver status reports to upper management Escalate project issues and risks to the Project Steering Committee Minimum Qualifications Education: Tier 1 ERP experience. Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field. Experience: Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 3-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline. Certifications: NA or None - None Preferred Qualifications Education Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Project Management Institute MBA Experience Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 3+ years of work experience in a related job discipline Experience managing professional staff Experience in establishing teams to achieve objectives Experience with senior executive stakeholder management Experience in higher education or nonprofit industry Experience coordinating activities in complex projects from conception through successful conclusion Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio Preferred Technical Experience Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP Experience working with Senior stakeholders (e.g., CIO) Preferred Competencies Ability to manage individual and team assignments to deliver a defined outcome Ability to manage competing priorities, work simultaneously on multiple initiatives, and meet deadlines Strong project management, organizational and written and verbal communication skills Ability to participate as a team player and positively influence a group Demonstrated ability to utilize spreadsheet software and analyze data to interpret financial data, produce reports, and present statistical information Experience with Microsoft Project or similar including, estimating of tasks, scheduling of tasks, juggling resources and priorities, Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Box Working Conditions Ability to sit for short or extended time periods Ability to stand for short or extended time periods Ability to extensively use computer Ability to make repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movements Application Documents Note :Travel? 50%VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
