Job Description

QA Automation Test Engineer

The Role:
• Develop solutions to orchestrate and automate BIOS QA testing leveraging automation platforms (e.g. Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and a proprietary test automation framework.
• Craft and refine a test result Data Pipeline suitable for big data warehouses and Business Intelligence (e.g. Power Bi, Sigma, Looker) applications.

• You would need to thrive and communicate effectively with a multi-cultural, cross-functional team across different organizations and geographies.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail when implementing and documenting software.

Key Responsibilities
• Write code to automate processor and motherboard testing and customer use cases in Windows and Linux environments
• Author detailed and clearly written documentation for all software created
• Participate in automated workload development planning sessions
• Prepare & review architecture for automated workload with management
• Operate closely with cross-functional teams and maintain clear communications with management
• Prioritize and manage a heavy and dynamic set of tasks and responsibilities
• Scope, manage, and execute assigned projects

Preferred Experience:
• Languages: C#, .Net, Python, Ruby, JSON, Java/Groovy, and SQL
• Online data warehouse experience (Azure, AWS or Snowflake)
• Experience with automation platforms (e.g. Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, Bamboo, etc.)
• Familiar with Business Intelligence applications
• Familiar with data modelling and general data engineering
• Familiar GitHub and the GitHub development flow
• Experienced in application programming and automation scripting
• Experience with running PC benchmarking software from the command line
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong teamwork and interpersonal skills • Action oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience installing and configuring Microsoft operating systems and applications
• Familiarity with semiconductor and PC industry standards
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

Academic Credentials:
• University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar related discipline is strongly preferred.
• Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce and similar Degree Programs that include a rigorous Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Science component may also be considered.
