Inventory and Logistics Specialist

As a supporting member of client's Client lab logistics staff, you will help organize, move and track the lab inventory of 1000+ computer components and update the inventory database.


The Person:

• Highly motivated self-starter
• Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges
• Exhibits strong attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time constrained environment
• Strong sense of time organization and urgency
• Able to work independently and within a team

Key Responsibilities:

• Help manage inventory of approximately 1000+ computer components
• Help manage inventory database including entry of new components, report generation, location tracking, alerts when inventory on items running low, etc.
• Engage with shipping/receiving logistics for the team to expediate receipt and distribution incoming equipment
• Procurement of computer components through internal systems and external sources such as amazon.

Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge of different types of computer components including CPU, Motherboard, Memory, Storage, Coolers, etc.
• Strong skills with Inventory Databases such as SnipeIT and Flowtrac
• Skill organizing and labeling inventory for onsite storage and palletization for offsite storage
• Familiarity with SQL
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. minimum
• Relevant industry experience in logistics operations, shipping, receiving, inventory management
