Job Description

Follow established SOPs
Sample login, tracking, and returns using a LIMS system
Sample transfers between different laboratories
Inventory management
Sample preparation for organic analyses in chemical fume hoods and glove boxes
Routine analysis using various methods
Enter test results into LIMS in a timely and accurate manner
Sample waste consolidation and disposal
Ability to stand for 6 - 8 hours per day
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with the help of coworkers
Meets and exceeds all company safety procedures and standards

Requirements:

Required: HS Diploma with 1-2 years industrial laboratory experience
Preferred: Associate Degree in Chemistry or Similar Science with 1-2 years industrial laboratory experience
Work safely at all times and ensure a safety culture and a safe working environment in the laboratory.
Good organization skills
Must be able to work in a team environment with good communication skills
Ability to operate and maintain assigned laboratory equipment
Ability to work under time pressure
Must have initiative and be self-motivated
Ability to change plans on short notice and work with a flexible schedule

Note :

Estimated hours per week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday - 9 am - 6 pm with a 1 hour lunch break.
