Job Description

Client Lead Payroll Processor should have 3+ years of experience with inhouse, full payroll processing cycles. H.S. Diploma or equivalent is required. Experience with PeopleSoft, Microsoft Office, and Kronos systems is ideal. WorkDay experience is helpful. This non-exempt payroll processor position will perform work from Client .
Timecard responsibility using Kronos: Electronic Timecards will be queried and reviewed for accuracy, pay rules and any missing data, on a weekly basis. Timecard coding experience is a plus. Timecard questions and inquiries will require timely and strong communications skills.
Payroll processing responsibility using PeopleSoft: Follow outlined steps for weekly Non-Exempt payroll and monthly Exempt payroll. Use queries and PeopleSoft Panels to monitor and manage new hire, termination, and payroll changes. Strong Excel skills are required to analyze payroll data. Excel skills
need to include creation and maintaining existing spreadsheets. Experience with direct deposit, file transmission, FLSA pay rules, unions, garnishments, taxes, and vendor payments. Updates of department processes, procedures and controls will be maintained. Needs to be well practiced in data
security and extreme confidentiality of payroll information.
Processor serves as contact for payroll questions and requests which includes being able to explain unusual or complex transactions or procedures to employees and others as needed. Strong math, data entry, and communication skills will be daily practice.
Ability to prioritize and organize their own work to meet payment and reporting deadlines consistently.
Ability to work independently under general direction, demonstrating sound judgment and attention to duties and details.
