Description :Key ResponsibilitiesDevelops strategy to assemble data sets that accurately reflect study cohort inclusion criteria in retrospective database studiesExtracts data from databases using SQLCleans and prepares data for statistical analysisAssists with data formatting and monitoring of results from on-going laboratory studiesAssists with data formatting and statistical analysis in HEOR and meta-analysis studiesProvides data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualizations to communicate results to the teamInterprets results and contributes to manuscripts intended for peer-reviewed publicationWorks with team scientists (generally microbiologists and pharmacists) to incorporate current performance standards related to quantifying the performance of our diagnostic devicesSupports the Peri- & Post- product Launch Study (PPLS) program as requestedCommunicates effectively with team members and internal stakeholdersAnticipates and proactively mitigates challenges and risks to timely completion of documentsRequired Education, Experience & SkillsBachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar degree with a primary focus on quantitative scienceExpertise with SQL database programming and data cleaning is required1-2 years experience working with real-world dataExpertise with R language programming is preferredExpertise with patient outcomes research, meta-analysis, and in vitro diagnostics device studies is preferredExcellent practices in documentation, commenting, and validation of codeExperience with Big Data, Amazon Web Services skills is preferredExperience with Tableau, R Shiny, or other business-intelligence platforms is preferredExperience with software development and version control using Git is preferredAbility to contribute to writing statistical methods and results sections for scientific papers; authorship in peer-reviewed scientific publications is preferredExcellent interpersonal, analytical, communication (oral and written), presentation, and project management skillsProblem-solving mindsetTeam playerAbility to work in a highly matrixed global environmentStrong prioritization and decision-making skillsFluent in English Shift: HybridVIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
