Manufacturing Equipment Operator

Job Description Summary

Under direct supervision, set up, monitor, and operates various piece of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements -rewind, tapeline, packager, tape/braider, marline, plastic extruder, PCP injection. May included operation of multiple machines at one time. Could also include repair, patching or splicing cable. May perform quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements.

Responsibilities:

Ability to read and interpret routine instructions. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Good mechanical aptitude, use of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment. Ability to operate material moving equipment/overhead crane and/or obtain certification. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 6 months previous manufacturing experience

This site manufacture reinforced polypipe use to run oil underground. This position will be basically running a coiler and changing reels.

Job posting set up to support on day shift however candidate must be able to work both shifts based on business needs.
Candidate will operate a forklift in this role.
Site provides training and site certification.

Steel toed boots

Training on days, but will have to be available for both shifts,
