Job Description


Program Manager

The Program Manager is responsible for the overall operations and enterprise support .
The manager is responsible for management of the relationships with the client that use the system, software providers, and the enterprise reporting functions of the system used by the government.

Operations Management

A. Successfully engages in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
B. Works independently to define issues and mitigation strategies.
C. Completes tasks as required by project deadlines and schedules.
D. Communicates and applies project standards.
E. Provides outstanding customer service.
F. Ensures support efforts and resource allocations meet operational needs.

Budget Scope and other Accountability

A. Monitors and provides input to the project budget.
B. Understands security requirements for access to confidential information.

Key Contacts

A. Develops relationships with staff and contractors to foster client ties.
B. Communicates effectively with staff and contractors at all levels to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
C. Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen both user and vendor relationships.
D. Manages staff and contractor expectations effectively.
E. Maintains relationships with other external organizations through professional association links wherever possible.

Communication

A. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
B. Ability to communicate technical matters clearly in lay terms for full comprehension by nontechnical users.
C. Facilitation of team and client meetings.
D. Deliver informative, well-organized presentations.
E. Tactfully communicates difficult/sensitive information.
F. Seeks and participates in development opportunities above and beyond training


Leadership

A. Generates enthusiasm among team members.
