Senior Accessibility Analyst

Qualifications

At least seven years of experience performing the functions associated with this labor category.
Assessing content for conformity to section 508 and accessibility requirements.
Evaluating software and technology to ensure adherence to client's accessibility standards.

Capabilities

Assess content, technology digital products, spaces, and/or processes for conformity to accessibility requirements and provides remediation assistance where necessary.
Convert non complaint electronic documents to accessible format(s)
Evaluate accessibility guidelin on source files and provides word templates to facilitate conversion.
Propose Section 508 remidiation processes to improve efficiency in converting PDFs, publications, and other electronic files or documents to accessible formats.
Expert level knowledge of accessibility standards and regulations such as Section 508 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Develop project plans for integration of section 508 accessibility needs/requirements into budgetary and/or strategic plans.
Evaluate new information technology to ensure adherence to accessibility standards, review Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs) and test web applications/software for Section 508 conformance.
Expertly develop and run manual and automated tests for section 508 compliance and is familiar with the Trusted Tester program.
Collabrate with all members of a product team to deliver usable and accessible solutions and identify and define the best approaches to Section 508 conformance.
