Accountant 2
Function:
1. Prepares and evaluates client Financial Statement records to ensure they meet standards and are complete. Tracks cash balances, federal fund deposits, and receivable transfers to ensure proper funding and timely processing. Accurately records cash receipts in the financial system according to standards and deadlines.
2. Managing and collecting outstanding payments from clients: resolve overdue bills, negotiate payment plans, and maintain accurate financial records
3. Analyzes accounting systems, procedures, and policies to improve financial operations and ensure effective fiscal management. Identifies financial issues and recommends solutions. Makes updates and corrections to financial records, including ledgers and accounts.
4. Maintains accurate financial records and performs daily and monthly transactions using QuickBooks. Collects and summarizes financial data to prepare reports on account activity and financial status.
5. Maintains cash balances in funds, compiles cash reports and monitors daily cash activities, maintains ledgers, makes entires and revisions to client accounts, ledgers and financial records. Monitors funds from the federal government and other grantor's to ensure proper matching of client expenditures.
6. Conducts wire reconciliation, ensures compliance with client regulation, federal reports, cash forecasts and monitoring. Completes daily and bi-weekly draws, monitors and ensures compliance with the Treasury Agreement; monitors fund balances and delivers ad-hoc reports.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field
