Job Description


Basic Function:

This position will be responsible for preparing and recording accounting journal entries (standard, correcting and reoccurring) as needed. Additional responsibilities include conducting account reconciliation’s to maintain an up-to-date status, communicating with analysts at various the client businesses to resolved issues, intercompany back charge invoicing, and allocation, assessment and distribution system setups.
Typical duties/responsibilities for finance may include, but are not limited to the following:

Perform basic analysis of accounting records for accuracy and completeness. Research and solve basic accounting problems
Review proper classification and coding of income and expenditures.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with the client procedures in general accounting practices, budgets and insurance policies
May oversee adherence to proper cash handling procedures and approve special requests for checks
Prepare documentation, including invoices, financial reports, expenditure forecasts and cost management reports
Process, update and maintain various accounting documents in accordance with the client policies and procedures
Reconcile, review and approve various accounting records and transactions. Make corrections to various databases as appropriate
Coordinate accounting-related mailings and compose correspondence
Assist with the development of new customer service initiatives

Complexity of Tasks: Requires thorough knowledge of financial policies and procedures, and ability to effectively interpret financial operating statistics and communicate information to management. Financial activities, analyses, studies and research are varied and somewhat difficult, and usually involve a moderate level of responsibility.

Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field and 2 to 5 years of experience or a special combination of education and experience, and/or demonstrated accomplishments.


Must have skills

Prior Account Payable Experience, Proficient in MS Excel Experience, Ability to multi-task & close task.
