Position Overview


3 days/week on-site, Wednesdays required; flexibility available. Option for 5 days on-site with a dedicated workspace.

Supervisor Accounting

The Accounting Supervisor’s major areas of responsibility will include: financial accounting including month-end close procedures, general ledger account analyses, preparation/posting of journal entries, technical accounting research, reporting, internal reporting requests related to Division, Regional branches, Corporate, fulfilling requests related to internal/external audit procedures, and all other ad hoc analyses or special projects.

This position must be able to build effective relationships with all levels of associates within the organization.

This role will also liaison with the client shared services including; accounts payable, cash applications, central billing, vendor chargebacks, general ledger accounting, and fixed asset functions as defined in the client matrix.

This role serves as a supervisor of accounting processes and quality control, managing workflow efficiency rather than direct reports.

In Particular you will:
Ensure the accuracy & integrity of the Division/Region financial statements and other information reported to internal and external users.

Direct responsibility will include:
Supervising accurate financial and statistical close processes, in conjunction with the client, including general ledger account reconciliations and other analyses within established timelines.
Significant sales accruals that are not based on a standard report/calculation.
Significant COS & OPEX accruals, that are not based on a standard report/calculation.
Localized accounting topics including, but not limited to, real estate taxes and personal property taxes.
Ad-hoc entries arising from the month end close review process

Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days/week on-site, Wednesdays required; flexibility available. Option for 5 days on-site with a dedicated workspace.)
Monday through Friday work schedule
