Description: WHAT YOU WILL DOAs the backup front-desk receptionist for the client, you will be answering phone calls from the public, including recording critical safety incident reports on both railroad and pipeline systems. You will review inspection and incident reports and ensure all data is keyed into our database systems correctly and provide reports as needed.General administrative responsibilities include proof reading and formatting of documents/letters, coordinating industry training classes, scheduling inspector travel, timekeeping for all client staff, and maintaining client inventory. WHAT YOU WILL OFFERExcellent organizational and administrative skills.Excellent proof reading and formatting of documents/letters.Ability to learn and remain current on the laws, rules, and policies governing your assigned responsibilities, particularly travel, payroll, Master Meter inspections and client 811 investigations.Professional and friendly phone demeanor, with the ability to accurately transmit information as needed even under stressful conditions.Intermediate computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel) and custom database programs.Ability to develop and implement effective and efficient operating procedures.Skills in the planning, organizing, and coordinating of simultaneous projects, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
