Administrative/Marketing AssistantPerforms the day to day clerical, recordkeeping or processing duties of a particular area or function using common office technology and client administrative systems. Will train on latter. Gathers data and assists in preparing reports. Provides information to faculty, staff members, students and the public. Keyboards and processes text and information, and may answer general correspondence. Makes appointments and maintains calendars based on specific instructions. Arranges meetings, schedules rooms and equipment. May maintain inventory and or order office supplies. Contributes to unit goals by accomplishing clerical or administrative duties as required. Some business training beyond high school desired.General scheduling for meetings, conference rooms, etcEmail inbox management (forward or respond to replies, unsubscribe requests)Proofreading emails and other content and communicationsSocial media kit updatesSocial media community managementEntering tasks/updating various Airtable itemsOrganizing and recording participant testimonialsSome Canva/graphic design possibleRequesting print quotes, pickupsOrganizing tracking and storage of materials, one-sheets, brochures, conference supplies, etc.Event & Conference Coordination:Plan and prepare conference registration and event logistics & summariesTracking sponsorship package deliverables (ads, emails, bag stuffers, etc.)Purchasing, packing and shipping physical collateral, supplies, and materialsArranging travel, managing invitations, lead lists, etc.Other duties as assigned - potential for budget/reconciliation tasks in futureKey Qualifications:Strong work ethic with an eagerness to learn, professional demeanor, and excellent communication skills.Exceptional proofreading abilities with a basic understanding of email marketing and AP Style.Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Airtable and Canva.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to learn new processes quickly.Notes:Hybrid - partial time on campus/partial time WFHSchedule: 14 hours/week, preferably 2-2.5 hours each morning
