Job Description


The Admissions Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the admissions process for designated programs. Key responsibilities include managing the application review process and overseeing recruitment activities. The coordinator ensures candidates are tracked throughout the acceptance process, documents the selection process, and facilitates pre-admission correspondence with both applicants and students. Additionally, the Admissions Coordinator verifies that all application materials are complete and follows up with applicants as necessary to ensure compliance with requirements.

This position serves as the primary point of contact for all pre-admitted students, addressing general program and application inquiries. The Admissions Coordinator utilizes the PASS system to organize application materials for review by faculty and administrative leadership. Furthermore, the coordinator creates and maintains a shared tracking system and database that allows review committee members convenient access to applicant information.

The Admissions Coordinator also participates in admissions and program-related projects and meetings. Collaboration is maintained with faculty, marketing, education, and operations teams to ensure effective communication and smooth operation of the admissions process.

This role also provides administrative support to the online MMSc degree program.

Coordinates and has direct responsibility for a program, project, event or program. Creates and implements administrative systems to manage area of responsibility. Serves as main source of information, effectively responding to inquiries from potential customers, participants, academic collaborators. Prepares and maintains records, reports, budget and plans. May maintain a web page, website, or program materials. Requires 2 to 3 years of related experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction. Able to plan, prioritize, and track work. Basic or better proficiency on common office software.

Required Qualifications
Three or more years related experience in office administration or business environment. Education beyond high school may count toward experience.
Effective written and oral communication skills and attention to detail
Experience managing complex processes in a technological environment
Strong data management and analytical skills, with experience in Microsoft Office suite, student databases, PASS systems
Comfort working collaboratively with a team to manage a demanding workload
Strong customer service, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills

REQUIRED:
Client experience required. Experience in admissions or student services highly preferred.
