Description:
The main goal of this position is to provide part time operational and administrative support to the client. Reporting to the client Executive Director & Director of Corporate Citizenship, position provides administrative and operational support with the overall execution of the client’s philanthropic & corporate citizenship strategies including but not limited to, charitable grants, foundation operations, stakeholder engagement, employee engagement, reporting, compliance, budget management and other duties as assigned.
1. Maintenance of foundation budget and financials. (SAP)
2. Manage payment process for authorized donations and invoices. (SAP)
3. Monitor receipts of contributions and payments of donations to ensure they are received/made in a timely manner.
4. Assist with foundation grantmaking process. (document preparation, research, follow up with grantees, etc.)
5. Prepare detailed monthly reports of donation activity, including quantifying benefit of donation and beneficiaries.
6. Provide assistance with the management, tracking & reporting of employee giving volunteer activities in CSR platform. (Benevity)
7. Coordination of volunteer events & other duties as assigned
8. Preparation of meeting materials & ad hoc reports.
9. Assists with ad hoc requests, e.g., program research, benchmarking, requests from OpCo's as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or relevant work experience.
Corporate foundation experience preferred
CSR platform (Benevity, Blackbaud, etc.) administration experience preferred
Significant proficiency with SAP/mainframe accounting systems
Experience in program management, corporate social responsibility, or philanthropy preferred.
Strong understanding of social and environmental issues, philanthropic trends, and corporate citizenship best practices.
Demonstrated passion for community engagement and social impact.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications
Accounting/GAAP knowledge and experience
Ability to work independently and accurately
Advanced research skills
