Job Description

Architect with business analysis and project management skills to assess functionality of 20 custom applications and research options for replacing each.

The client is seeking a part-time experienced architect with project management and business analysis skills to assess functionality of 20 custom applications and research options for replacing each. Applications are primarily in C# with SQL backend. This role requires working directly with business users and subject matter experts and requires excellent verbal and written communications skills. This role requires excellent workshop facilitation, communications and documentation skills. Also, this role will direct the work of a business analyst.

Analyze, determine, and document functional requirements. - Required - 8 Years
Provide definition on how the applications will support business requirements. - Required - 8 Years
Provide detailed definition on how the applications will support business requirements. - Required - 8 Years
Coordinate the design and development of work estimates and act as the primary point of contact. Assist in managing and directing application team pro - Required - 8 Years
Organize and prepare work effectively to facilitate proactive resolution of problems. - Required - 8 Years
Work with client to identify direction of software. - Required - 8 Years
Ensure business requirements are supported by the software. - Required - 8 Years
Understand specific business needs and overall business strategy of the business customer. - Required - 8 Years
Ensure that overall application designs remain within project scope. - Required - 8 Years
Provide standard, well-structured work planning which defines scope, resources, commitments, quality, risk, tasks, and acceptance criteria. - Required - 8 Years
Guide processes for business analysts and direct work planning and design activities. - Required - 8 Years
Work with customer business units to understand their business processes. - Required - 8 Years
Work with customer business units and client to identify direction of software. Ensure business requirements are supported by the software. - Required - 8 Years
Ensure goals for Functional Architects are being met and manage team commitments. - Required - 8 Years
Analyze, define, and document how the applications will support functional and business requirements. Coordinate these efforts with Functional Archite - Required - 8 Years
Research options to replace custom applications and propose solutions to leadership. - Required - 8 Years
Develop business documentation and presentations. Present recommendations to leaders and executives - Required - 8 Years

Notes:
Remote/Onsite
The Architect will often meet with client employees in person and/or via video conferencing between the hours of 8:30am and 5pm. Otherwise, work may be done independently with flexible schedule.
