Description: POSITION PURPOSE:Provide exceptional support to the client channel partners, internal sales team, and customers. You will be the first point of contact for the transactional and operations questions, issue and complaint resolution, and tracking, as well as advocate for the channel partners across the client factories. The Channel Support Specialist will act as the first escalation point to assisting the sales team to help resolve issues with channel partners and customers. In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating and training channel partners on the client tools available to them for their transactional and operational needs. You will directly interact with customers, channel partners, factories, sales team, and channel team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:Maintain strong relationships with Sales Management within the client and within Channel PartnersInitiate, maintain and improve communications with feeder factories to support Channel PartnersContinuously look for opportunities to improve Channel and Customer Satisfaction and grow Sales. PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:Functional areas of responsibility are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with established policies and procedures.Professional business relations exist with Sales Channel Partners. Questions, problems, and information needs are resolved courteously, effectively, and promptly. Assistance is provided as required.Required documentation, records, reports, and files are complete, accurate, and up to date.Effective working relations and coordination exist with Company personnel. Information is obtained and conveyed as needed.Management is informed of area activities and of any significant concerns. QUALIFICATIONS Required Knowledge:Refining processes to achieve better results as a teamThorough understanding of Quoting, Ordering and Proposal processesThorough understanding of Project Management principles and processesThorough understanding of the Channel Support and Order process Responsible for analyzing customer requirements and prepare quotation with cost estimate.Review and understand customers control specifications.Develop control architecture per specifications and equipment requirements.Prepare control functional specifications for systems, stations and/or work cells.Review and identify control modification requirements of existing equipment to accommodate proposed changes.Prepare cost estimates for system, station etc. control requirements.Coordinate customer activities relative to controls (i.e..
