Description:Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies following engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.Interpret assembly drawings, bills of materials, and technical instructions with accuracy.Operate hand and power tools safely; certifications may be required for cranes, forklifts, and other equipment.Disassemble, modify, rework, refurbish, and reassemble components as needed.Perform tasks using knowledge of various mechanical processes, operations, and equipment.Complete work order documentation, quality records, and accurately log labor hours.Collaborate effectively with team members, demonstrating strong communication skills.Set and use torque wrenches correctly, adhering to developed processes and seeking ways to improve.Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.Qualifications:1+ year of experience in mechanical assembly or a related mechanical field.High School Diploma or GEDExperience working with standard hand and power tools, both pneumatic and battery operatedKnowledge of torque wrench and applied torque valuesAble to Identify mechanical parts and electrical componentsAbility to occasionally lift parts or sub-assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs.Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.3 Mandatory skill sets:Ability to follow directions, Proficient with hand tools, good attention to detailNotes:7AM - 3:30PM VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
