Job Description


Job Summary:

• Assembly Technicians are vital members of the production team. They are expected to cut, grind, fabricate and install different pipes, metals, valves, motors and pumps. Assembly techs are highly skilled with a large variety of power and hand tools. Use of tools in conjunction with other large machinery like forklifts, pallet jacks and cranes is part of the daily production routine.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry.
• Use proper tools to make or repair parts and products (cartridge/Skid and Oil reservoir).
• Ability to understand technical documents, such as DWG, P&ID, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
• Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products.
• Plan and lay out work to meet production and schedule requirements.
• Prepare production documents, such as standard operating procedures, manufacturing batch records, inventory reports, or productivity reports.
• Provide production, progress, or changeover reports to shift supervisors.
• Keep a clean and tidy workspace.
• Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
• Select cleaning materials, tools, or equipment.
• Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma.
• An Associate Degree is preferred.
• Pipe bending or plumbing experience is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Good communication skills
• Physical fitness and strength to lift and operate heavy electrical machinery
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.
• Basic computer skills such as emailing, record keeping, ordering, inventory management and form filing
• Willingness to work in flexible shifts as needed

Temp to hire
Onsite
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 6am to 2:30pm PST
Hours: 40 hours plus Overtime
