Description/Comment:Asset Protection CoordinatorGENERAL FUNCTIONThe Asset Protection (AP) Coordinator monitors the Access Control System, CCTV System, and investigates internal/external theft concerns within an assigned facility. The AP Coordinator is also responsible for completing facility audits, responding to critical incidents involving retail stores, additional assignments, and other projects as designated by their supervisor.MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESSupports the execution of daily AP operations, including surveillance monitoring, access control reviews, patrols and incident response.Servers as a lead resource for investigations, supporting case development, evidence collection, camera review, and OSINT activities.Assists with facility audits, inspections and compliance reviews, documenting findings, and tracking corrective actions.Maintains accurate incident reports, case documentation, and audit records in alignment with AP standards.Assists in ensuring security technology effectiveness, escalating system issues, and coordinating with leadership as needed.Identifies incidents of theft and fraud (internal/external).Performs facility audits for safety and insurance purposes.Monitors and reviews the CCTV system.Analyzes collected data (e.g., metrics, exterior patrols, access control).Conducts training classes (e.g., orientations).Drives a “shrink elimination” culture in the facility.Prepares accurate and detailed case reports.Documents investigations, recoveries, and losses.Preserves evidence.Interacts with law enforcement and Brand Asset Protection.Testifies in criminal and civil court actions.Reports hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty (MOD).Carries out responsibilities in a manner that minimizes risk of injury.Provides support to AP Command Center operations.Monitors the LiveSafe dashboard.Responds to medical and weather related emergencies.BASIC (REQUIRED) QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent.2+ years retail Asset Prevention/Retail Loss Prevention experience.Strong oral and written communication skills.Good time management and prioritization skills.Ability to detect and evaluate unusual behavior and circumstances.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to interact with all levels of management and civil authorities.Knowledge of basic computer tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.Open availability; able to work nights and weekends.Notes:Hours: P/T - 7:00 - 12:00 PM, Monday-Friday100% Onsite VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
