Description:Temporary Assistant Director of Residence Life.Responsibilities:The Temporary Assistant Director of Residence Life (ADRLO) supports the operational, administrative, and assessment needs of the Residence Life program. This role focuses on organizational alignment, document and policy management, recruitment support, and operational efficiency across Residence Life systems and processes. The Temporary ADRLO collaborates closely with professional Residence Life staff, live-on staff and faculty, and campus partners to ensure smooth coordination of key annual cycles and ongoing initiatives. This is a project-oriented role that prioritizes improving structure, accessibility, and consistency across departmental tools and resources.Primary Responsibilities:Organizational Clean-Up & System AlignmentTransition foundational departmental materials from The Tank to SharePoint.Audit and organize existing folders for consistency, accessibility, and clean structure.Ensure naming conventions and file structures align with departmental standards.Recruitment Preparation & Follow-UpProvide pre- and post-recruitment support for RAs, RHs, CDs, RDs, and possibly ADRLs.Assist with scheduling interviews, tracking applicants, and maintaining recruitment documents.Organize candidate materials and confirm templates and communications are up to date.Document & Policy ManagementReview, update, and format departmental documents, policies, and operating guides.Support uploading, organizing, and maintaining current versions in SharePoint.Event & Initiative SupportAssist with scheduling, logistics, and set-up for Residence Life initiatives, Dean’s events, and student engagement programs.Support event follow-up and tracking deliverables for Resident Deans.Assessment & ReportingContinue building assessment reports for Resident Deans using Roompact and Maxient data.Support redevelopment, deployment, and analysis of the House Life Survey.Create and format summary reports for campus partners and leadership.SRA & Advisory Board SupportCoordinate and provide follow-up for Senior Resident Assistant initiatives.Schedule and support Residence Life Advisory Board meetings, including agenda prep and meeting notes.Communications & Administrative SupportDraft and format internal communications and department updates.Maintain trackers/project dashboards for ongoing initiatives.Support onboarding logistics and materials for new staff.Education:High School Diploma/GED - RequiredNotes:Mon - Fri8:00 AM - 5:00 PM VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
