Hybrid 2x a week in officeDescription: GENERAL FUNCTION:This role supports transversal trade marketing initiatives with a specialized focus on finance and logistics. The Associate Manager will manage a complex, dual-market CAPEX and OPEX budget (US and Canada) and coordinate vendor operations and a transition to a new vendor. The role is also instrumental in supporting a digital transformation initiative, helping move from Excel-based tracking to a centralized program management platform in collaboration with IT. This role ensures business continuity during a transition in full-time staffing. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee daily management of the trade marketing budget, including CAPEX and OPEX tracking across U.S. and CanadaPartner with internal Finance, Procurement, IT, and Marketing teams to support program executionCoordinate with multiple vendors during an RFP process; help streamline operational workflowsAssist in the development and documentation of requirements for a digital project management toolMonitor key logistics and vendor deliverables to ensure alignment with marketing timelines and budgets BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, logistics, marketing operations, or trade marketingDemonstrated experience managing complex budgets (CAPEX/OPEX)Strong proficiency in Excel and comfort working with detailed spreadsheetsProven ability to coordinate across multiple departments in a fast-paced environment Specific Skills Needed: Top 3–5 Mandatory and/or Minimum Requirements:Complex budget management (CAPEX/OPEX)Vendor management experienceCross-functional project coordination (Finance, IT, Marketing)High proficiency in Excel and budget trackingExperience in digital tool/platform implementation Top 3–5 Desirable Attributes/Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field3+ years of experience in finance, trade marketing, or operational rolesDemonstrated experience managing CAPEX/OPEX budgetsStrong Excel skills and comfort with complex spreadsheetsProven ability to work across departments and manage priorities Required Levels/Years of Experience & Education:Bachelor’s degree required3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, logistics, or marketing operations Notes:Hybrid 2x a week in officeWork Hours: 9-5 EST, 40/weekTemp to Perm VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
