The team is looking for a Video Network Installation TechnicianThe roles are similar please refocus on sending candidates with: Install and configure video and network equipment, including cameras and video management servers vs candidates with repair audio-visual equipment such as projectors, sound systems, and display systems.Job SummaryJoin the Video Team as a Video Network Installation Technician and play a critical role in supporting a large video and license plate reader deployment for mission-critical customers. This exciting position involves working with cutting-edge video technologies, fabricating equipment, programming/configuration, and managing inventory. Collaborate with multiple teams both within and outside of client to enhance situational awareness for first responders.Roles and ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the lead MSI engineer to understand and implement project requirements.Fabricate video equipment pods for final installation.Install equipment inside enclosures.Build and install cabling for POD and cameras.Configure Linux-based computers for use with Vigilant LPR cameras.Configure LPR cameras with basic settings prior to deployment.Manage, track, and consolidate project hardware inventory.Test programmed equipment to ensure it meets quality standards.Update and create documentation related to the project.Provide onsite support as needed for installations (25% travel required).Main ResponsibilitiesStage, install, and test video sites.Top Contributions within First 90-120 DaysRevenue and milestone support for the team.Must-Have QualificationsNetworking with troubleshooting.IP video configurations and troubleshooting.IP subnetting.Good communication skills.Nice-to-Have SkillsWireless networking.Access control.Industry ExperiencePreferred but not mandatory due to the difficulty of finding this skill set in the market.Software ProficiencyOffice and communication software.Certificates: Network+, A+, CCNA.OpportunitiesCareer Growth: Gain hands-on experience with a range of advanced video technologies and network systems.Skill Development: Enhance your technical skills and expertise in a supportive environment.Team Collaboration: Work with a dedicated team of professionals and expand your professional network within and outside the company.Note :Hybrid position: Could vary from 3 day to 5 days onsite as needed.
