Description:Role summary:Design, build, and operate secure, cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure using Terraform, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices for a financial-services environment.Must-have qualifications & experience:Formal training/certification in computer science or as a technical architect.5+ years of applied experience across Azure services: Storage, Compute, Integration, IAM, and Network.Strong Terraform (IaC) skills and practical cloud-native delivery experience.Proficiency with automation/CI/CD pipelines and tools, including Jenkins and Spinnaker.Experience with Git (branching, PRs, code reviews).Proficiency in at least one programming language—Python preferred—plus experience with the Azure SDK; full-SDLC proficiency.Familiarity with containerization and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes.Ability to independently diagnose and resolve design/functionality issues with little to no oversight.Hands-on delivery across system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.Demonstrated proficiency in software applications/technical processes within technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, AI, machine learning, mobile).In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and related IT systems.Security, Policy & Governance (client emphasis)Experience writing and testing Azure Policies; strong understanding of Azure policies and governance.Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments (e.g., secure IAM/RBAC usage, network segmentation, secrets management, and baseline hardening).Ability to operationalize governance (policy lifecycle, assignments/initiatives, compliance monitoring, remediation).Core responsibilities:Architect and implement Azure solutions spanning storage/compute/integration/network/IAM.Define and maintain Terraform modules and pipelines to provision and manage infrastructure.Build and operate CI/CD workflows (Jenkins/Spinnaker) for application and infrastructure delivery.Develop and maintain services/tools/automation in Python (leveraging Azure SDK) following full SDLC.Containerize workloads and manage runtime on Kubernetes; ensure reliability and performance.Uphold security, compliance, and policy governance across environments; drive operational stability.Preferred qualifications & skillsMicrosoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (plus).Understanding of Azure AI services (plus).Proven ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies.Microsoft Azure (P5 - Master)Skills:Category - Name - Required - Importance - ExperienceAzure - Microsoft Azure - Yes - 1Notes:OnsiteVIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
