Job Description

Travel: Up to 60–80%; work from home and travel to customer sites as needed

Description:

Role Overview
This is a junior-level, hands-on field technician role supporting DAS installations for public safety and cellular projects. The technician will work closely with a lead tech. Due to increased workload, this is a net-new position requiring strong communication, organization, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities
Install DAS components: antennas, coaxial/fiber/CAT5/DC power cabling
Mount equipment on racks, walls, ceilings
Conduct site surveys and assist with RF coverage testing
Support RF cable sweep, PIM, and fiber testing (experience preferred but not required)
Document installation progress and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with internal teams and clients

Technical Requirements
2–4 years of DAS installation exposure (Level 1 – close supervision required)
Familiarity with ADRF, Comba, and Solid systems (nice to have)
Basic understanding of NFPA 72/1221 standards (preferred)
Computer literacy required (Excel, Word; Google Sheets a plus)
GUI/IP-based system experience is a plus
RF testing tools experience (signal generator, PIM sweep, fiber testing) is a plus

Physical & Logistical Requirements
Must be able to work at heights (rooftops, lifts) with fall protection

Occasional overtime required (after hours only; no weekends)
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Steel-toe boots required (PPE provided except boots)
