The primary responsibility of this [Billing Audit Specialist] is to;Audit all Construction Vendor submittedinvoices aiding in a fair and accurate accounting.The selected candidate will be required to interface in a cross-functionalteam environment and contribute independent ideas and participate in anefficient, productive, and effective team. They will be expected to;Review submitted Construction Vendorinvoicesprovide a final dispositionconcerning the legitimacy of each billed unitResolve all deficienciesFoster development of new processesand improvement of existing processes aiding in a fair and accurate accountingConstruction Vendor and the client Approver trainingRolesand Responsibilities:Work to achieve team objectives, adhereto current policies, procedures, and long-range strategies.Plan, coordinate and document specialprojects and ongoing program workflows to ensure efficiency and best practicesare incorporated into the final product.2-4 years’ experience engaging with the clients Construction Vendors and their related SOWs (Statement of Work).Ability to read OSP constructiondrawings.Ability to manage multipleprojects/tasks at the same time.Ability to assess risk and makedecisions that can impact the business.Experience using Microsoft Officeproducts with a focus on ExcelExperience using Varasset andSiteTrackerExperience using SharePoint basedapplicationsAbility to participate in a cross-functionalenvironment and contribute independent ideas to the discussion.Ability to work independentlyProviding urgent Ad-hoc data requests as requestedPerforms other duties as assigned.Qualifications:2-4 Years of related experienceStrong technical, analytical, and organizational skillsStrong written and mature interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex topics in both written and verbal form.Self-Starter who can work effectively, independently, as well as in a cross functional team environmentSkills, Traits and Characteristics Necessary for Success: Requires exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills including attention to detail, superior problem-solving skills, and a high degree of organization.
