This Biochemist I position impacts people’s health, and well-being all around the world, while working on a new and exciting automation platform; the client. Position supports Manufacturing personnel via technical expertise and guidance, as they build/test diagnostic reagents and materials that will be used by clinical labs, Centaur, and Centaur CP automation platforms. Position reports to Manager of Technical Operations within the Manufacturing sector. Assay portfolio focus includes Anemia and Reproductive/Steroid.
This position includes the handling of all types of materials, including hazardous and DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) controlled materials.
This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional looking for the next step in their career. As a Biochemist 1, you will be responsible for:
Leading projects throughout the project life cycle
Coordinating with other departments and client sites in support of product design and process changes
Coordinating and carrying out root cause investigations and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Create and participate in the design of experiments (DOE) as part of validation and verification activities
Writing compliance documentation associated with technical investigations, data analyses, and experimental conclusions
Working in the laboratory running, Centaur, and CP instrumentation with serum and other biological fluids of human and animal origin
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
BS in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry

Experience working on CAPA investigations and implementations
Experience working on design and/or process change projects
Strong work ethic, excellent written and communication skills
Must be flexible and demonstrate the ability to switch priorities to meet business needs
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
