Description: Board Repair/Solder Technician JOB SUMMARYProvide advanced soldering support for an advanced technology development lab. JOB SUMMARY

QUALIFICATION
IPC Certification/3-4 years soldering experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Basic computer proficiency including capability to follow work instructions on a computer screen and enter data into excel tables, experience with Microsoft Office
Knowledge of semiconductors or Surface-mount technology (SMT)
BASIC SKILLS
Ability to solder surface mount and through hole with precision and accuracy and to required specifications
Proficient in reading schematics and PCB Layout CAD data
Read and follow BOM and assembly instruction or procedure
Demonstrate component identification
Good Judgment and problem solving
Even temperament in changing environment, results driven personality
Works well with others in group or teams, Communicating with other technicians, engineers, and clients regarding project status and issues
Creativity and latitude are required for problem solving
Ability to work with minimal supervision
ADVANCED SKILLS
Soldering of Fine Pitch Components
Understanding of IPC 610-A and IPC-600 (Certification preferred)
Proper use of advance solder equipment
Following safety procedures and regulations regarding chemical use and disposal
