Job Description

Onsite/Hybrid in Chicago

Description:

This position is responsible for functions on projects of moderate to high complexity by working with business partners within multiple business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies; eliciting, documenting, and refining business requirements for the IT organization; serving as a liaison across multiple facets of the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs; leveraging an informed knowledge of business areas to identify and/or resolve problems on an ongoing
basis.
Individual must demonstrate strong multi-tasking setting priorities based upon minimal direction including:
Strong experience in writing of complex SQL queries to extract and validate the data from the database.
Proficient in creating, executing SQL queries in Oracle, SAS and/or Teradata or other reporting tools / languages for reporting purposes.
Strong proficiency with tools, language MS Office Suite: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS SharePoint, MS Visio.
Understanding of NCQA HEDIS quality measures and code value sets.
Experience in analyzing and data cleansing of raw data with strong working knowledge of programming, work with various applications of ETL, reporting, data mining.
Familiar with HIX (Health Insurance Exchange), EMR (Electronic Medical Record), EHR (Electronic Health Record) types of data collection.
Strong interpersonal skill set including ability to support in partner relationship between health plan & provider/vendor community.
Demonstrate strong initiatives in self-learning with independent trouble shooting, identifying issues and solutioning skills.
Ability to effectively communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to shared goal.
