Intermediate Business Communications Specialist

Qualifications

At least seven years of experience performing the functions associated with this labor category.

Produce communications that increase awarness and understanding of IT programs and initiatives.

Translate of IT technical content into digestable information for business audiences.

Apply communications principles and practices to an evolving information technology and data environment.

Produce, apply, and document style guidelines and design guidelines to ensure a consistent presentation of information.

Work with IT sunject matter experts(SMEs) and managers to communicate and promote IT enterprise services to the broader organization.

working knowledge of organizational transformation and change management principles and practices.

working knowledge of program or project management principles and practices.

Capabilities

Working on business communication projects

Organizing content using collabration platforms such as SharePoint and Team Foundation Server (TFS).

Producing content for Windows and iOS digital communication channels such as websites, digital displays, video, print media, social media, and mobile applications using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint Online, and Office 365.

working knowledge of content management principles and practices

Exceptional oral and writtern communication skills

Exceptional proofreading and editing skills
