Position Overview



IFM Consultant (Individual and Family Markets)

This role will work on a project supporting the expansion states for IFM under the client. We would like to bring on resources to help us draft some of the required mandated materials for the new states.

BASIC FUNCTION:
Drafts, reviews, and manages complex or multi-product filings and contract documents. Applies advanced understanding of benefit design, state and federal regulations, and client standards. Works with limited supervision and serves as a resource to peers, providing quality oversight.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Draft and finalize complex or multi-product filings using advanced templates and guidance.
Conduct detailed benefit and regulatory analysis to ensure compliance with state and federal standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners on regulatory updates, process and/or product changes, and interpretation questions.
Ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables through self-review and peer feedback.
Contribute to process improvement, template refinement and documentation updates across assigned market segments.
Ability to learn how to use new technology, systems and tools quickly.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
2-3 years of experience with contract development, regulatory filings, and/or supporting multi product filings.
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment with limited oversight.
In-depth knowledge of health plan products, benefit design and regulatory requirements.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, document management system and workflow tools (e.g. SERFF, SharePoint, intake systems).
Advanced writing, editing, research and analytical skills.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with multiple product types or jurisdictions.
Experience contributing to process improvements, automation tools, or template refinements.
Demonstrates strong analytical judgment, peer mentorship, continuous improvement mindset and cross-functional collaboration skills.
