Job Description


Position Overview:

• The Business Data Analyst will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research on industry trends, regional market dynamics and macroeconomic factors to support strategic decision-making.
• This role requires strong technical expertise in using typical Microsoft software and systems (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.), advanced software solutions such as Tableau, Power BI, Knime and Power Automate, along with an understanding and interest in working with Artificial Intelligence technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of industry, regional, and macroeconomic data and reports to identify trends.
• Establish/coordinate content and platform page development for the client internal partners.
• Ensure the timely application and maintenance of the iPortal content (daily/weekly/periodic).
• Maintain and enhance interactive dashboard(s) and reports using Tableau and/or Power BI to visualize the iPortal platform and other COS systems.
• Utilize Knime, Power Automate and other client related systems for data integration, transformation, and advanced analytics.
• Apply AI techniques to analyze data, build predictive models, and generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making processes.
• Assist COS team, utilizing PowerPoint proficiency strategy slides presented to Senior Staff.
• Candidate may be asked to support other COS teammates in other data-driven projects as they may align with the iPortal or the broader client initiatives.
• Contributes to creative thinking and supporting the team, believes in a teamwork approach and in facilitating change.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years’ experience in Data/Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or related.
• Proven experience in data analysis, visualization, and AI applications.
• Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, Knime, Power Automate, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to challenge oneself to learn new systems, software and online tools as will arise.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
