Job Description

*Remote position: proximity to client's Atlanta office preferred.

Description:

Work with business unit stakeholders to identify and define requirements for business applications
Produce developer-friendly functional designs, user stories, and wireframes that accurately reflect business requirements in coordination with Business Relationship Managers and Business Application Owners
Serve as the liaison between business and engineering colleagues to resolve issues and provide progress updates, including to senior management
Conduct user story grooming sessions, coordinating discussions between engineering and business stakeholders
Develop and document business processes and procedures that encompass cross functional, complex business applications and processes
Proactively analyze and evaluate business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
Research software applications to understand existing functionality and generate impactful change recommendations, making recommendations to senior management
Work with engineering teams to develop and implement technical applications, bringing expertise in challenging status quo
Test and validate applications to ensure they meet original business requirements and needs, often coordinating testing activities
Produce process maps and models for proposed applications, analyzing the data to identify patterns and trends
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, seeking buy-in and coordinating with senior management
Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make adjustments as needed
Conduct market research to gather data on competitors, customers, and industry trends, resulting in enterprise level improvement recommendations
Identify and assess potential risks and develop contingency plans for enterprise level initiatives
Demonstrate knowledge in all systems, processes and data relating to the assigned business or project
Deeply understand the functions supported by current applications and systems
Mentor other Business Analysts and provide guidance on issue resolution

Required:
BA experience with finance business systems. Oracle Fusion HCM or EBS experience.
