Job DescriptionCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Individual positions may be responsible for some or all of the listed duties and/or other related dutiesAssist Teacher in the implementation of instructional objectives, behavioral strategies, and IEP (Individual Education Plan) goalsUnder the guidance of the Teacher; tutor students in a variety of activities (academic subjects, daily life/social skills, etc) in both individual and group settings Monitor students in the use and care of equipment to prevent injuriesObserve, record, and maintain student files per Federal, State, and Agency policiesProvide assistance in lifting and caring for students which may include, toileting, feeding, and hygieneTransport students to and from activities/appointments when necessary Continue professional growth through training sessions/workshops Notes:Schedule: Monday- Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm (40 hours per week), no weekends required.VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
