Position Summary:
Client has an exciting opportunity as an Analyst/Sr. Analyst in Compliance Center of Excellence (COE) Regulatory Reporting. This entry-level role may assist more senior level members of the current team in preparing, filing, and submitting required, regulatory reports to help client meet all of its compliance, legal, and regulatory commitments to State regulators. This role will be responsible for an assigned inventory of regular, recurring regulatory reports and/or special projects and initiatives that may span across several states and/or subject matters. This opportunity involves extensive collaboration and cross-functional partnership to ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to develop foundational skills in healthcare compliance with key focus around regulatory requirements and reporting thereof.
Duties:
Manages an assigned inventory of recurring regulatory reports.
Cross-departmental collaboration for report coordination of small/moderate size reporting.
Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory reports, including data gathering, formatting, and validation.
Submit reports to regulatory agencies in formats prescribed by the states (i.e., SERFF, state Portals, etc.).
Ensure proper record of submissions and appropriate level of documentation.
Monitor project report timelines and task completion using tracking tools and shared documentation.
Data entry into enterprise systems of record to document all report deliverables and submissions.
Support and offer assistance to senior team members for their more complex reporting assignments.
Contribute to process work flows and assist team with reviewing/updating internal SOPs for new/changing reports.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to internal policies and regulatory standards in all assigned work.
Provide management with weekly updates on projects, reports, and upcoming deliverables.
Experience:
Familiarity with healthcare benefits, pharmacy operations, or health services environments.
Exposure to data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, LaunchPad, Power BI, Copilot, or Quickbase.
Proficiency in all basic MS Office products including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint. Familiarity in Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUP is helpful. Understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize findings clearly. Ability to understand regulatory requirements and articulate them to the business area succinctly and cohesively. Effectively communicate and escalate issues to management, business partners as they become identified.
Strong project management skills and experience in managing multiple projects with varying deadlines, requirements, and priority, simultaneously.
1-3 years in Compliance-related function; involvement with external regulatory agencies is preferred.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant coursework or experience in areas such as compliance, quality assurance, regulatory reporting/filings, or internal review, internal audit, business (unit) compliance (e.g., BCO/BUCO) —particularly within insurance, regulatory reporting in healthcare services or of healthcare benefits. Commercial healthcare experience preferred.
