HybridDescription:POSITION OVERVIEW: This temporary entry-level position provides administrative and compliance support to the Business Development Administrator in monitoring and maintaining procurement and contractual compliance activities for Small Business Utilization. The employee assists with contract documentation, data tracking, compliance reporting in the B2GNOW compliance system, and coordination of administrative tasks related to professional services.Work is performed under direct supervision and follows established procedures and guidelines to support contract monitoring and compliance functions in accordance with Federal, State, and County regulations.CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with organizing and maintaining procurement and contract administration files.Maintain contract logs, tracking spreadsheets, and compliance databases.Assist with compiling contractor and subcontractor compliance reports. Support monitoring of Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation documentation.Assist in preparation of contract documentation including amendments, task authorizations, and supporting records.Coordinate document collection from contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal departments.Assist with preparation of meeting materials for pre-proposal, meetings, workshops, and compliance discussions.Compile data and statistics for internal reports and advisory boards.Provide other support as assignedSkill - Required / Desired Amount of ExperienceAbility to speak and understand English and ability to communicate effectively with internal staff and external vendors - RequiredMust have an associates degree or currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field - RequiredExperience using Microsoft Office, Word - Required - 1 YearsExperience using a laptop, printer/scanner - Required - 1 YearsStrong organizational and record keeping skills - RequiredAbility to manage multiple administrative tasks - RequiredAttention to detail when tracking compliance documentation - RequiredExperience with government procurement or contract administration - Highly desiredKnowledge of compliance monitoring or SBE participation programs - Highly desiredExperience using B2Gnow Compliance - Highly desiredNotes:HybridMonday-Friday 8am-5pm VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
