Position Overview


GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:
The client is looking for a Construction Supervisor for steam letdown station project. The construction is set to start summer 2026 for an estimated period of 2 months.

SCOPE OF WORK:

CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS
1. Construction Supervisor contract in T&M
2. Local Construction Supervisor would be a plus for the bid selection
3. Construction Supervisor to represent Client Project
4. Construction Supervisor to demonstrate safety leadership responsibilities as per the client Construction Safety standards during construction, including Stop Work Authority against all contractors.
5. The Construction Supervisor will be representing the client with the goal to complete the construction in time, budget minimize overtime, and offer excellent communication with the client project manager.

CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE:
6. Project Timeline : Expected 6 to 8 weeks of construction and 2 weeks of commissioning, tentative start date JUL 13th 2026
7. Currently aiming for 4 x 10h MON-THU construction schedule, to be confirmed based on piping fabrication progress.

COMMUNICATION REQUIREMENTS
The Construction Supervisor is responsible :
8. to communicate efficiently with client operation and maintenance for Work Permit request planning
9. to communicate to Project Manager & Project Director any problematic points that would slow down / impact the construction schedule.
10. to send daily construction reports as per client construction report MPI-CO-SR1_rev7, including up to date progress pictures
11. to develop and update daily punch-list action follow up
12. for managing and addressing safety/quality/schedule related deviations for the project onsite.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

The Construction Supervisor :
13. Will be responsible for accurately signing all contractor timesheets
14. Must have an up to date OSHA work at height training in order to inspect all mechanical work from a lift.
15. Must provide own PPEs, include fall harness, 4 head monitor, as per the client requirements
16. Must represent the client for all QC Inspections Test Plan falling under the client responsibility ( including necessary pneumatic and hydro witness hold points per Mechanical ITP).

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT:
17. Construction Supervisor to have experience with COGEN / High Pressure Steam Piping project
18. Construction Supervisor to have experience with Industrial Instrumentation to support the I&E contractor as required, including loop checks
19. Construction Supervisor to have Hot Tap experience
20. Construction Supervisor must be trained reading Isometrics, PIDs, Civil & Structural Drawings, Instrumentation drawings for this project

Construction site safety supervisor. Oversees activities onsite and ensures compliance with OSHA and client standards - effective communication skills imperative, ability to intervene and stop work if necessary - extensive knowledge of construction and OSHA safety standards required. OSHA 30 Hr required. Daily prep of SWPs and communication to site stakeholders. Responsible for weekly site safety meetings with site personnel. Recordkeeping and weekly safety report documentation and output to stakeholders. Other duties as assigned by the Site Manager. Proficient with Google office software such as Google Sheets, Docs, Meets, etc.
