As a Contract and Operations Manager, you will be among the first to undertake this newly created and unique hybrid position. This role is planned as an individual contributor role but has potential to expand to include having direct reports. You will prepare drafts, review and propose redline responses, lead negotiations, and execute a wide variety of different contracts such as new internet/voice/video agreements, amendments, assignments and assumptions, renewals, and terminations.You will also play a key role in identifying and executing on a variety of internal and client-facing process improvements and customer success initiatives. Your involvement could range from managing projects, data gathering/analysis, assisting on existing projects, leading contract standardization and simplification, Salesforce and CLM tool enhancement efforts, and more!ResponsibilitiesLead contract efforts for client MultifamilyServe as the primary client point of contactDraft and manage a variety of legal documents through entire contract lifecycleReview redlines and propose responses to internal and customer’s legal counselCreate and issue AdobeSign or Docusign executablesMaintain records and correspondence for in-progress and executed contractsAdept at communicating contract information to and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders (Business Development Managers (Sales), Legal Counsel, Operations Managers, setc.)Able to identify opportunities for process and systemic improvement, propose solutions, and drive execution independently or cross-functionallyQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience required5+ years’ experience in contract management, creation, and negotiation3+ years’ experience in operations, process improvement, and/or business developmentStrong ability to multitask and manage multiple contracts and/or projects at onceStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and organizational skillsComfortable fulfilling the lead or supportive role as situations requireTakes initiative, requiring minimal supervisor oversight and receptive to coaching as requiredDriven to winAble to be both customer-centric and protect client’s interestsSalesforce and Docusign (or similar CLM) experience a plusKnowledge of and experience working in the Multifamily marketplace preferredA valid state driver’s license and a willingness to travel up to 10%Notes:Remote
