Controls Engineer LeadDuties include:The Lead Controls Engineer will establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and addressing equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. They will also provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.Cognos, Keyence experience.Siemens PLC controls experience is idealCombination of automation, IT, Fanix robots is a plus.ResponsibilitiesEvaluates, selects and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.Studies equipment performance and reliability.Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules.Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s degreeAt least 5 years of product manufacturing experienceORMaster’s degreeAt least 3 years of product manufacturing experienceORAt least 7 years of product manufacturing experienceDesired SkillsMust be able to work independently with little guidance.Requires in-depth knowledge and experience, with a full understanding of area of specialization.Fully proficient in applying established standards, resolving a wide range of complex problems of diverse scope in innovative ways, including problems where precedent may not exist.Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.Note :The hours for this role would be 7pm-6am with the exception of training which would be 1st shift.Must be willing to work Hours: 7:30pm- 6:00am Monday-Thursday 10 hour work days (Occasional OT may be required)++++Candidate will start out on days and move to evenings++++ 2-4 weeks on first shift and then move to second shift.PPE: Safety Shoes/Safety Glasses requiredVIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
