Description: Position Overview:This position will work closely with mechanical, electrical, and control system engineers to facilitate the successful implementation of our CPQ (Configure/Cost-Price-Quote) software tool. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in software implementation, project management, and a background in engineering. Candidate Profile:Computer programming and/or engineering (mechanical, electrical or control systems) background/experienceKnowledge in the field of gas turbines and auxiliary systems is preferredExperience in object-orientated programming languages, ideally C#Knowledge of SQL database analysis and customisationAnalytical approach with independent and autonomous problem solvingAffinity for the digital implementation of processes and technical contextsHigh demands on data quality and accuracyAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work in collaborative team environmentVery good knowledge of English Position Responsibilities:Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, control system and other engineers to gather requirements, understand existing workflows/processes and the implementation of product structures in the product configurator.Work within a multi-national team of CPQ modelers/programmers to assist in the configuration and customization of the CPQ software to meet the specific needs of the engineering teams.Develop, contribute to and help maintain project documentation, including requirement specifications, process maps and user guidesDetermination and consolidation of configuration rules with the specialist departments (e.g. strategy, development, purchasing, engineering, production and processing)Coordination of basic data (costs for deliveries and services) and cost drivers with the specialist departments (e.g. strategy, development, purchasing, engineering, production and processing). Transfer of these to the basic databaseDatabase administration and further development of the CPQ softwareMonitor progress and report on overall status, key milestones, risks, and issues to stakeholders on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis as appropriate.Flexibility to attend occasional out-of-normal working hours meetings to accommodate schedules of international colleagues Notes:8:00 AM to 4:00 PMCandidate has valid passport in good standing and can travel to USA, Germany, Netherlands, Czech Republic and/or Sweden.
