Job Description


Cybersecurity Professional

This is an early profession role.

Responsibilities:
Strong work-ethic and ability to provide timely deliverables with minimal oversight.
Guide business on security topics and controls
Passion to learn new concepts and leverage strengths of others to promote an environment of collaboration and teamwork.
Establish strong trusted relationships with key team members throughout the organization and maintain a network into the global client cybersecurity organization to access specialist knowledge and incorporate it into the existing operations.
Collaborate with domain experts within the client.
Review customer security requirements
Collect, validate, and maintain IT asset data, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment with cybersecurity and compliance requirements.

You’ll make an impact by:
Support senior team members in the coordination of cybersecurity objectives.
Support the effectiveness of existing tools, methods, and solutions to identify potential areas of improvement to further enhance quality of the cybersecurity governance program.
Support the communication of cybersecurity risks and mitigation measures through non-technical, cost/benefit terms and in a format relevant to business objectives.
Contribute to 3rd party risk management processes.
Know the latest on IT and OT security trends, standards, and news.
Collect and report on critical metrics.

Basic Qualifications:
1-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Consulting, IT Audit and / or technology fields.
Proven ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly terminology (verbally and written).
Experience in networking security best practices, protocols, and firewall management
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Proficient in English Language both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or from an accredited university with similar focus.
Experience (including internships) in Cybersecurity, Ethical Hacking, Cybersecurity Risk Management, or IT Audit is a strong plus.
Network +, Security + or similar certification
Web security standard processes, including certificate management, encryption protocols, and common vulnerabilities
Microsoft’s Power Suite
1-2 years of AI/ML experience
1-2 years of cloud computing
Vulnerability monitoring
Problem-solving skills
Collaboration with partners across departments and affiliated organizations

Notes:
Hybrid position working in the office on Tuesday and Thursdays and remotely Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
7am-4pm
