Position Overview


Job Summary
Cylinder Prep Technicians prepare cylinders with a primary focus on safety and health. They comply with all safety regulations and collaborate within a team environment to meet business goals.

Job Responsibilities
Safely operate assigned processes to meet quality and productivity goals.
Comply with the Quality System, reporting deficiencies and halting operations if quality is compromised.
Prioritize daily tasks in coordination with Production Leads and Supervisors.
Participate in monthly safety meetings and the Company emergency response (ER) team, which requires wearing a tight-fitting full-face respirator.
Set up and monitor product transfill systems (pressure, temperature, weight) for pure atmospheric gases, toxic/non-toxic products, and gas mixtures.
Review and suggest updates to Standard Operating Procedures and learning resources.
Complete annual personal and plant goals.
Perform fill calculations and record production data accurately.
Assemble and disassemble production equipment.
Promote a "Do It Safe, Do It Right the First Time" culture.
Complete all assigned training and cross-train peers.

Educational Requirements
High School diploma or GED.

General Requirements
Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders.
Must remain clean-shaven to wear a full-face respirator and fully encapsulated Level A ER suit.
Ability to work rotating day and night shifts at the Upper Mt. Bethel, PA site.
Strong safety-first attitude and ability to learn technical chemical processes in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and troubleshooting skills.
Self-starter capable of performing under pressure and changing priorities.

Notes:

The shift is 6am to 2:30pm. There may be overtime needed as well occasionally.
