Job Description

Job Summary:
Our Cylinder Prep Technicians work to prep our cylinders and perform the work with the utmost regard for the safety and health of all involved. They understand and comply with all safety regulations and guidelines while on company or customer property. The Technician works in a team environment where collaboration and teamwork are critical to meeting the goals of the business.

Job Responsibilities:
• Safely and efficiently operates their assigned processes to meet the day-to-day quality, production and productivity goals of the Company.
• Understand and comply with the established Quality System and report any deficiencies and stop any plant operation if it is compromising the quality process
• Effectively prioritizes their daily tasks working with the Production Leads and Production Supervisors.
• Participate in monthly safety meetings and promote a safe work environment
• Actively participate on the Company emergency response (ER) team including as an ER entry team member which requires wearing of a tight fitting full face respirator
• Set-up, operate and monitor (pressure, temperature, weight) product transfill systems for the purpose of filing single or multiple containers with
• Pure atmospheric gases
• Toxic or non-toxic liquid or gas phase products
• Gas mixtures with two or more components
• Reviews and suggest updates to the Standard Operating Procedures
• Reviews and suggest updates to the Learning Resources for the processes
• Completes their annual personal goals to achieve the plant goals and their own personal development goals
• Perform the necessary fill calculations for weight and pressure additions.
• Record all required product fill data on the appropriate production data forms and/or by computer entries.
• Assembles and disassembles production equipment
• Successfully completes all assigned training
• Cross-trains peers on approved functions

Educational Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED

General Requirements:
• Fitness for duty, including but not limited to: ability to lift 50 pounds and have the ability to climb ladders.
• Must be and remain clean shaven and able to wear a full face tight fitting respirator and a fully encapsulated (Level A) ER suit.
• Demonstrated positive attitude and safety-first attitude
• Demonstrate ability to obtain proper assistance when confronted with problem situations
• Ability to learn technical chemical processes quickly in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to interact effectively with others to accomplish daily tasks and achieve the plant's goals
• Ability to communicate concisely and effectively in written and verbal formats with stakeholders at multiple levels in the business
• Ability to perform technical troubleshooting to resolve process issues

Work Schedule + Time Zone: 6-2:30 eastern
Est Hours Per Week: 40
Ability to work rotating shifts - day and/or nights at either the Company site in Upper MT Bethel PA
