Digital Product Content and Asset Data Analyst

Overview:
• Digital Product Content and Asset Data Analyst will assist in the data transfers, management and quality of digital product content and assets. The candidate will facilitate the submission of digital content to several client content storage locations and external data consumers. The candidate will work closely with the Product Management and Digital Content groups, leveraging their product knowledge to assist in the sorting of content, uploading and correcting data, troubleshooting any sync errors and discrepancies, enabling Gen AI ready assets, testing Gen AI solutions, digital content analysis and editing.
• This position is expected to contribute and deliver business processes or detailed technology solutions, in a self-managed and target oriented manner, and thus contributes to team results. Targets are short to medium term (best to be characterized as milestones), and achievements are monitored.

Experience/Qualifications
Requirements – Skills
• 2-3+ years of experience in content and analytics content strategy, content management, content/data analytics and business intelligence/business analysis experience.
• Strong ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues, persistence in gathering needed information to complete the task.
• Extensive experience in Excel including Macros, proficient with the use of advanced formulas, large amounts of data (2000+ rows of data)
• Able to replace Excel macros with KNIME for data wrangling
• Proficient in project management and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while proactively providing regular status updates
• Understanding of search engine optimization for content and webpage, strong understanding the workings of content/meta-data attribution online
• Excellent Power Point creation skills for creating reports and reports to upper management
• Working knowledge or familiarity with Tableau, Jira, Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager, SAP
• Beginner or higher level with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, website or visual design
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and presentation skills; experience communicating the results of analysis clearly in writing and verbally
• Deep understanding of content, messaging, value proposition production and development.

Key responsibilities:
• Oversees the quality and supplemental meta-data of the content created to ensure that the complete, accurate, and error-free package is available for upload to upstream and downstream systems.
• Supports product management, data management, and national account managers by providing creative and strategic direction, coordination, and training for digital product assets.
• Conducts content audits (if not already in place) for owned downstream sites and internal data repositories; use a phased approach and a timeline that enables effective management of the scope and scale of the audit.
• Creates reports and communicates results to various internal and/or external stakeholders (e.g. management)
• Analyzes overall content data trends to create and proactively communicate actionable insights that help drive higher content quality
• Optimizes content and meta-data quality, processes and activation channel choices based on analysis
• Tests Gen AI solutions and Gen-AI content enablement with existing product documentation and improves its quality based on Gen AI best practices
• Examines search query behaviors on general or specialty search engines or other Internet-based content and modify site/assets as needed to increase visibility of company products.

Essential Functions:
• Gathers, prepares, ensures accuracy, uploads/updates content and metadata to internal systems. The assets are specific to attributed product data such as specification sheets, technical data, images, descriptions, and collateral.
• Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Develops/updates processes to regularly maintain databases and conduct regular checks to ensure data integrity
• Create queries that allow data to be extracted and to streamline the data retrieval process
• Builds and automate business intelligence reports to quickly identify changes in trends/key metrics, elevate issues, and identify areas for improvement
• Stays abreast of industry trends, implementing best practices, and presenting new opportunities

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
• BS/BA degree or 3rd+ year towards completing their bachelor’s degree
• Detail oriented, well organized, efficient with time management
• Project management experience: delivery of project objectives on-time and within-budget with appropriate resource planning and risk management
• Able to work with cross-functional team members in roles that include both upstream content contributors and downstream content activators
• Resourceful, able to apply “plan b,” “plan c,” etc. before reaching out for help
• Fast learner, able to understand new technologies and implement changes to process
• Excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills
• Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions
• Experience with technical documentation, charts/graphs, process mapping
• Ability to influence people without authority

Not required but would be a plus:
• Knowledge of electrical residential, industrial products and markets
• Understands the demands of the channel in a B2B digital environment
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management
• Knowledge of the electrical distribution sales channel
• Understanding of UL - requires enclosure testing by qualified evaluators; client- compliance up to a manufacturer, doesn't require independent testing; IEC Standards
