Position Overview

The Temporary OEWS Analyst conducts outreach to HR and payroll professionals across companies of all sizes to collect critical employment and wage data for the Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS) survey. This role combines cold outreach, stakeholder communication, precise data entry, and the translation of company-specific job titles into standardized government classification codes.

Key Responsibilities

Outreach C Relationship Building:
Contact HR and payroll departments via phone and email to solicit wage and employment data. Identify decision makers, explain the purpose and value of the federal survey, and assure contacts of strict privacy and data protection protocols.
Data Mapping C Classification: Review incoming job titles and hourly/annual wage data, mapping specific employer titles to the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) framework.
Data Entry C Accuracy: Enter complex, detailed wage and position information into the system accurately and completely.
Email Campaign Execution: Draft and send direct individual emails, as well as execute program-driven bulk email campaigns targeting hundreds of organizations simultaneously.

Key Skills G Oualifications
Professional verbal and written communication skills with comfort performing phone outreach.
Close attention to detail for accurate data entry and mapping.
Basic familiarity with executing automated/bulk email tools and managing data contacts.
Ability to understand and explain data privacy standards and standard classification frameworks.


Requirements:
1 year of call center and admin experience

Preference:
Worked with other client agencies in the past

Notes:
Hybrid: Resource will be working from home after training - usually after the first week
