Position Overview


Remote

The Data Entry Associate Representative is responsible for performing analytical and administrative functions to support Medicare Billing processes. This position is data-driven and transactional in nature, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and Medicare requirements rather than customer-facing activities.

Key Responsibilities
Review billing information for accuracy and resolve discrepancies, errors, and payment issues
Post and Reconcile payments, credits, refunds, and adjustments to customer accounts
Communicate with internal departments regarding billing questions, account balances, and payment concerns
Maintain accurate and organized billing records and documentation
Research and resolve billing discrepancies while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Prepare billing reports and assist with reconciliation and reporting activities
Protect confidential customer and financial information while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism
Meet established productivity, accuracy, and quality standards while managing multiple billing tasks and deadlines

Required Qualifications
Working knowledge of Medicare Advantage enrollment and eligibility (Part A, Part B, and Part C)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-focused mindset
High attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of transactional work
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong written communication skills for internal collaboration

Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of experience in healthcare insurance
1+ year of experience in billing processing (Medicare Advantage preferred)
Prior experience with data entry, billing systems, and transaction processing
