Position SummaryOperates data entry devices, verifies data, performs related clerical duties, and/or prepares documentation for data entry by assigning numerical codes to entry items and verifies accuracy. Includes rating/coding. Provide the office support needed to ensure that business objectives are metResponsible for performing some of the daily functions related to the processing of mail, retrieving documents, scanning documents, handling prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures, links order entry, data perfection, completing orders, and supporting any other Pharmacy Clerk (ROCC) area needs. Through your skills and knowledge, you will demonstrate solid commitment to customer satisfaction and quality, while offering solutions needed to help simplify the customer health care experience. Typical daily tasks include processing and distributing inbound non-production and outbound mail utilizing the latest processing techniques and equipment, accurately handling and entering prescriptions into the order entry and or links system, and/or review and resolution of prescription exceptions.
