Job Description


Position Summary
Operates data entry devices, verifies data, performs related clerical duties, and/or prepares documentation for data entry by assigning numerical codes to entry items and verifies accuracy. Includes rating/coding. Provide the office support needed to ensure that business objectives are met

Duties
Enters alpha and numeric data using key-to-disk standalone equipment, PCs, and other data entry terminals
Verifies data by sight and machine for completeness and accuracy
Follows a pattern of operations generally standardized, but frequently including rules, expectations, and special instructions, which demand close attention
Good working knowledge of the operation of data entry devices and numerous applications, job formats, and system commands

1. Accurate & Efficient Data Entry (Alpha/Numeric)
High-volume data entry using PCs and data entry terminals
Strong keyboarding skills with speed and precision
Ability to upload and enter large quantities of records (500+ Health Needs Assessments)

2. Attention to Detail & Data Verification
Verifying data visually and through system checks
Ensuring completeness and correctness before submission
Following standardized procedures with special rules and instructions

3. Computer & System Navigation Skills
Comfortable working in a Windows-based environment
Ability to navigate multiple applications independently
Familiarity with data entry systems, job formats, and system commands

Experience
0-1 year- Demonstrated effective keyboard skills; able to navigate with a computer/systems-dependent environment without assistance; experience in a window-based computer environment preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology, procedure coding and ICD9 coding preferred

Education: High School diploma or GED

Purpose: Temporary support for data entry

Work Type:
Repetitive, high-volume data entry

Work Schedule:
Onsite, 5 days per week
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
